The small-plot, high-altitude, Fair Trade CertifiedTM coffee that goes into every bag of our certified organic Bali Blue Moon is shade grown in the Indonesian island’s Kintamani Highlands by groups of traditional farmers known as Subak Abians. The Subak Abians oversee all agricultural and religious activities on Bali, where the use of pesticides is prohibited and all fertilizers used are 100% organic.

Our Bali Blu Moon is grown at altitudes between 3,200 and 3,900 feet, with orange and tangerine trees planted between the rows of coffee.

Fair Trade certification ensures that the Subak Abian farmers are paid fairly for their crops, and that profits from their harvests are invested back into their communities to build and support schools, clinics and other projects that increase standards of living and ensure a brighter future for farm families.

In the cup, our Bali Blue Moon reveals a smooth, syrupy body, with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla bean and hints of almond, caramel, cinnamon and ginger.
