Certified organic and Fair Trade CertifiedTM, our Brazil Poco Fundo is a rich, vibrant coffee from southeastern Brazil’s Poco Fundo Cooperative near Rio De Janeiro.
With a deep, full-bodied flavor and fruity high notes, this natural dry processed Brazilian is reminiscent of an Ethiopia Harrar or Sidamo.
Poco Fundo is a cooperative of small scale farmers (founded in 1991) located in the state of Minas Gerais. As membersof the co-op, the farmers have been able to improve the quality of their coffee through education and training, as well as improve their own quality of life by consolidating resources and improved incomes.
The attention to detail and the care that goes into producing this outstanding coffee, coupled with the region’s near-perfect climate and ideal growing conditions, produces a coffee of exceptional quality.
