Kenya Kagumoini AA is produced by small-holder farmers who are members of the Mugaga Coffee Society in Nyeri, Kenya. This lot is 100% SL28 varietal and is processed at Kagumoini wet mill in Kenya’s central highlands.

The SL28 varietal was developed in Kenya by a company called Scott Labs in the 1930's. The SL28 is a bourbon-type varietal with some Mokka varietal in it's genealogy. Like all great bourbon-type lots, this coffee has resounding sweetness, balance, complexity and body.

With this coffee we find a tropical and super dense sweetness reminiscent of banana balanced by a red currant acidity and the sweet floral tone of vanilla.
